Experience Patterns
When multiple independent reports describe similar phenomena, a pattern is recorded. Language: "Recurring reports in the practitioner archive" — never "scientifically proven".
Pattern: Drowsiness During Sitting, Mistaken for Stillness
Recurring community pattern: practitioners fall asleep or sink into drowsiness during sitting and struggle to distinguish it from entering stillness — with the tradition's own distinction documented.
Pattern: Leg Numbness and Pain in Cross-Legged Sitting
Recurring community pattern: early cross-legged sitting produces numbness, tingling pain, and the 'endure or adjust' dilemma — with the tradition's own safety caveat restored.
Pattern: Warmth, Sweating, and Felt Qi Movement in Sitting
Recurring community pattern: warmth, sweating, tingling, and felt qi movement during or after sitting — with traditional, physiological, and interpretive readings kept separate.
